Greetings everyone!
I almost managed to get here yesterday today to post.
Sandy, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's already putting away her Christmas stuff! Of course, since we are heading out of town a couple of days, I didn't want to come back and still have all that to do.
Our day in NYC was wonderful. Even with the transit strike over, we managed to walk about 7.5 miles, not including the slow shuffle at the museum. We did the whole nine yards, a museum, Rockefeller center and the tree, plus elbowing are way down Fifth Avenue trying to window shop. Then Dinner and The Lion King. The only bad part of the day was the train ride back. I think every single student from one of the local high schools was on it. There was standing room only, and a number of the students were drunk (even imbibing while on the train). At least we managed to find seats!
I don't know if I'll be able to stop by here the rest of the week, but if not, I expect to see everyone back here with the start of the New Year!!!
Kyle
