Hey ladies
So yesterday was the official start of my big M-training… Actually it’s a 16 week program, so it’s starts in January, but we want to make a head start, and work a bit on my speed. According to my Nike+ we ran 9 km in about 51 minutes. I was a little out of breath but could still speak, I was running a bit out of my comfortzone, but I still feel great after doing this.
I think that’s my problem, I am a very cautious runner, always afraid to “hit the wall”, but that is what training is about, seek your limits and in case you hit the wall, and have to (gasp) walk… so be it, it’s training, not an exam.
Today was crosstraining day, I wanted to go for a swim, but TOM is quite bad and I don’t feel comfortable swimming then, what if they are leaks??? Yuck!
Maybe I will do some hill walking on the Dreadmill tonight, work up a sweat and watch some TV in the meantime…
Yesterday at weigh-in I lost 100 gram, not much, but better than a gain, our meeting was closed last week because of a holiday and the week before I couldn’t attend… I always slack off a bit when I don’t have to get on the scale. I’m back again tho, especially since I wanna lose some pounds so I can run up the hills much more easily.
But I’m proud I’m in the 70’s, not wanting to change that 7 into an 8 J
Sandi: love your post and your good vibes about your work. I hope they will translate into good vibes about food too!
Cheryl: already snow?? Brrr… not looking forward to that… They have predicted a horror winter here… I hope not, we are used to rain in Belgium, not snow J. Don’t stress too much over eating out, that’s life, just focuss on the things you can really control: breakfast, dinner, snacks… Drink a lot of water to flush out the sodium.
How is the little baby doing?
Lunchbreak is over, back to work…
Talk to you later!
Kath
