Hey ladies,
Feeling better, I was asleep by 9.00Pm, something like that and slept through the night. I woke once to get to the bathroom, but I do that in “zombie-mode” and no need to stay awake afterwards, pondering about all the junk I put in my mouth… I did well in the eating department, so I slept well.
Anyone of you who can be awake at night, because of all the bad things you ate and beating yourself up about it?
I had a meeting this morning, which went well, finally I see some light at the end of the tunnel. I walked there, a 10 minutes walk and watching the joggers run by made my heart cringe from jealousy… I think I will start running short distances this week… Pain is gone, so I’m going to try…
Weigh-in tonight and I’m looking forward to it. Our meeting was closed last week and I really miss it. Now that I told my leader about my problems, I feel more relaxed… She told me to relax about the program… it’s not an exam… it’s a learning experience and yeah we screw up, we are humans. So I don’t have to punish myself or sabotage myself because I went 1 point overboard one day…
We will see what the scale says. Best part is that I am feeling already better, returning to my healthy lifestyle, my bowels feel happier too (they are the first to tell me that I’m not putting the right food into my body: they refuse to work or go into overdrive J). And that with PMS…
Annie: I’m not familiar with the term, but it seems we have both some organs who are pushing us to eat healthy J
Karrie: your weekend sounded fun. It’s great to get this appreciation from your friends and neighbours. You deserve. Where exactly do you live, you could be living in Belgium when I hear the kind of weather you have there .
I am happy that your nephew could come home and that he is doing great… Altho mummy and daddy wouldn’t agree being awake every 1-2 hours J.
What a great Dad’s day you planned! It brought tears to my eyes too, to read how much fun your dad had. It’s heartwarming.
Cheryl: great pic! I can see you are recovering, glad to see that your motivation is coming back, it really is, we can read it between the lines.
Our garden is blossoming after the period of heat and dryness. I make my dinnerplans now after taking a walk in the garden and seeing what is ready to harvest.
This weekend I make my first attempt at roasting beets… Any experience with that?
Anni: love the doilies! You make me wanna start my quilting again.. I still have an Easter project which wasn’t finished on time J.
I’m sorry for your dad, stress isn’t doing any good, but it’s impossible not to be stressed out about that… I guess you are all now waiting for a cure, and to know what to do? I hope it will turn out all right.
Better return to work,
Hugs,
Kath
