Just a very quick post this morning, as I have lots to get done.
I realized something important about myself yesterday, that I think will be very usefull in my weight loss journey. I realized that I don't feel 'fullness'. How I realized this was that yesterday we went out for lunch. I watched everyone else, and they couldn't fnish their meals, however I finished mine, and I still could have eaten more. Not necessarily because I was 'hungry', because I wasn't feeling hunger even when I got to the restaurant, but rather because I wasn't feeling 'full'. I watched my eating for the rest of the day (yesterday was a terrible eating day for me. At no time during the day did I feel 'hunger', but at no time during the day did I feel 'full' either.
To me, this is a huge breakthrough. This means that I can not just listen to my body to lose weight, because my body doesn't tell me the truth. Rather, I am going to have to use knowledge, and figure out 'when' I should be feeling full. I do know that my body feels hunger, so I will rely on that to decide when I will eat, but I will use my intellect to tell me when I should be full.
Does any one else body, not show signals of hunger/fullness?
