Happy Saturday morning goalies! This seems to be my ritual these days, posting on Saturday morning
I could have sworn that I posted on Thursday night, but it was 1am and I was half asleep, so perhaps my memory is betraying me
Typically I start the weekend with a ton of projects in mind, but today I have a blank slate. Sure, cleaning needs to be done, errands, etc. but I'm just going to do what I want to and see where that takes me. It may take me back to bed
and that's ok.
I had just written that paragraph, when I heard our landlord pull into the drive. That got my butt in gear to clean up the kitchen and living room
But he must have been here for the other tenant, and he left
Hey, it got me to get my cleaning done in record time!!
Julie, hope you're doing better girl. Good luck with your challenge this weekend!!
Sunshine, it's been great seeing you back here regularly! My kitchen is scary
That's where I'll be after I post! I think you asked me a few
days ago about our relocation? Yup, we moved here mid-October. Katelyn was not happy about it and has been up and down about it for awhile. Right now I
think we'll pulling out of a bad phase and moving into a really good one. The better weather, large area to play, neighborhood kids, settling in at
school, and playing on a softball team have made for a great spring so far. She's also been seeing a school therapist as well as a therapist in town to
help support her. I think that was one of the best decisions. They give her someone else to talk to other than naggy mom
About two months ago I was
promoted at work and that increased my load significantly. I've been struggling to find my own balance, which is why I'm here off and on and rather
grouchy lately
I'll figure it out
Boston, I'm so sorry hubby isn't very kind at times.
It huts so deeply when the people that are supposed to love and nurture us do things that
are the exact opposite. I know it's easier said then done, but by overeating as a reaction to what he says, you are only punishing yourself. Do you tell
him how much it hurts?
Joan, hi lady!!!
Robin, let me give you a big sign of caution - as work gets busier, don't give up the time you need for you. I've done that for weeks and it is sooooo hard to work it back in. I understand the exhaustion all too well, but somehow we have to keep our lives and health in check. It only adds to your exhaustion when you don't feel fit and fueled with good foods.
Kelli,
Well my friends, let's have a beautiful weekend!
