Good Morning Moms!

It is a sunny day here! I just wish it would warm up a bit.

My youngest dd has the largest tonsils. When she has a fit and is crying with her mouth open, they almost touch. I also think sometimes it makes her speech sound garbled. Traci and Tan- did your girls have that? Since she doesn't get sick much, the doctor said she would grow into them. She is also a big time snorer!
Tan- Sorry to hear about your friends moving. My caregiver is like family also. It's nice to leave your kids with someone you know really cares about them.

Traci- Sounds like it was a good thing for your daughter to have that surgery despite the rough road with recovery. Glad to hear she is not as sick.

Kim- Working with three kids is busy. I work three days a week, two 12 hr shifts and one 8 hr shift a week. I don't like my 12 hr days because it's a lost day with the kids. They are all in bed by the time I get home. The baby is finally sleeping through the night. He's down by 7:30 and doesn't wake up until 6:30. Yea! The plus side of working the 12 hr shifts is that my dh has to do the evening stuff with the kids. I think it is really good for kids to have Dad be alone with them. They have to get use to Dad comforting them, knowing their routines and such. It also gives dh the perspective of how hard it is with three kids too! I hope you have a great vacation and the the plane ride goes well with the kids.

I lurked over on the 100+ board last night and Michelle's post was really good about taking weight loss day by day and enjoying life along the way. That is so true. I also do the "try to lose weight" by this holiday, birthday party, whatever.
I'm really trying to change my attitude around about this being a lifestyle changing process and take it day by day instead of just looking at the next event. Well, I have to go get my dd from preschool.
Have a great weekend everyone:)
