Good morning everyone,

I have sure been enjoying the rest and relaxation that I get on the weekends. I'm looking forward to my summer vacation. I got up this morning resigned to see a gain on the scale and hoping that I wouldn't be up too many pounds. Instead I lost 3 lbs. This is why the scale makes me crazy. It rarely shows what I predict and I usually have no idea why. Now I'm worrying about what it will do next week after four days away. I have never come back from the upcoming conference without bouncing up on the scale. Maybe because there are just too many meals out. Trying to make sense of this week I wonder if the difference might be partly because I was more active this week and I ate less bread even though calories were higher for two days. I know that I should look at the big picture and not worry about the bumps on the road but I find that hard to do when I'm anxious about being able to find food that will fit my needs.

My plan for the coming week is to try to move more and reduce the bread in the hope that will help offset all the restaurant meals with higher fat, salt and calories.

Housework and laundry are on the agenda for today. Have a good day everyone.

Cheryl
