Julie,  You know I am a big believer in the WW program and a good leader to help give you tools but I really think that unless you customize your plan to YOUR personal needs, you can’t possibly succeed for any length of time.  Who is going to eat yucky packaged food for the rest of their life or count calories, or fat grams???  Not me, heck I hardly have time to think .  All of the tools I’ve learned have stuck with me, thank goodness!  I may not be at goal weight but I know where I could be and I know what works for me.  I just need to follow my own advice!  Same ole problem. Lol I think we all need to do what’s right for us.  Some people need the accountability of the scale and I used to love those every 5 pound down stars but, I feel like the numbers get in my way now.  They can be off for any number of reasons and that can damage me psychologically, especially when I know I’ve done so well.   They can deter my efforts and I don’t want that.  At least not right now.   I know when I’m doing well… my body tells me when I’m doing well.  That needs to be my focus because in the end, that is the true success.

Cheryl, I suffer the same way as you!  I need to have provisions or I’ll take ‘whatever’ is just there or won’t bother eating eat all.   Recognizing that is the greatest battle, I think.  Trying to be prepared is how we beat it.  My lovely husband has made certain that we have healthy, home cooked meals each and every day this week!  Leftover grilled chicken and salad from last night’s dinner for lunch today.  I used to have the computer mounted up in front on my treadmill when I did this before.  Only then, we didn’t have 40” flat screens and chrome cast available!  This should be much easier. Lol….  I am an avid reader as well and tried reading a book on the treadmill.. is a no go.  My eyeballs were confused too. Lol   I now do mostly audiobooks because I feel like I already sit too much and don’t need another excuse not to move.  This allows me to get things done and I do love it!  I have a $400 pair of noise cancelling/Bluetooth headphones but can’t really wear those in the garden or sweating on the treadmill, so I just bought a pair of Bluetooth earbuds this week.  I’m prepared!

Karen, story of my life.. and Cheryl’s life! Lol  I hope you have a plan for today???  Smaller cooler bag with veggies and good choices maybe?

Hi Nancy, welcome back. J  I remember those pedometer days of tracking my steps!  Congratulations on your success with WW!

Boy I’ve been long winded the past couple of days… sorry about that.  I still feel like I just need to be here and that you all help to feed my soul.   Poor Karrie, L  I need to find a couple of days to establish a new forum for us, hopefully integrated with yuku so we keep our members and posts.   I’ll try to get to that this weekend.

Ok, must work (waaaa).. bbl
