Hey ladies,

Wanted to say “hi”. Sunday evening here, I just finished planting some more broccoli, cauliflower and lettuce in the greenhouse. I took a huge fennel inside and will make a fennel avocado salad. Found the recipe on about.com local foods.

I had a busy week, we had our annual BBQ at work Thursday and I cook most of the saladbar and the dessert buffet. I made tiramisu ( an all time favourite), tarte tatin and profterolles. All this for about 30 people.

I lost it (again) on Friday… I ate way too much, this continued until dinner tonight. I went tou and got fastfood for the family…. I don’t feel well, I just keep slipping, and getting up…

I know that’s life and I feel so good when I read all your posts, I see that it is possible to find “the groove” back.

I just keep trying and trying. I love healthy foods, I just have to stop using food as a sort of “fix-it-all”. I’m tired, let’s eat. I don’t feel good about myself, let’s eat. I am stressed, let’s eat. I don’t wanna do that (insert task), let’s eat to postpone it…. You know what I mean?

 

Julie such a busy girl you are! But I can see it makes you happy, being active.

 

Cheryl thx for the recipe. I will check it out, my kale is growing, growing, growing! I love looking at it, it’s just such a lovely plant with all those curly leaves.
