Hi everyone,

I think I'm slowly getting my groove back, unfortunately slowly is the correct word. Today I tilled up the garden areas again where I'm going to plant the bedding plants, I mowed all the lawns, watered the outside and inside plants, and did some puttering. I also did the dishes, tidied some of the kitchen, got my recyclables ready for pickup, swept the floor, made my meals, brushed the dog, and did some inside puttering. That's likely the most I've accomplished on a Saturday in a long time. Friday I picked up groceries after work so I'd have food for the weekend and not need to go shopping. I don't want to eat carelessly because I need to go shopping but I also have a hard time shopping at the end of the work week since I'm tired and hungry and my willpower isn't as strong as it could be. Regardless I seem to have managed pretty well with week five as far as food choices go. I still need to be a lot more active. I'm really hoping that I can get four big jobs done tomorrow. That would make the weekend feel productive.

Hi Karrie, I'm sorry to hear that your life has turned mega stressful. I hope that you're able to find refuge in your home with your dh and your pets. I'm glad that you're loving your haircut. I know we've both had bad experiences with our hairdressers in the past. We're finally getting a few sunny days here so I'm trying to catch up with the yard work.

Hi Julie, My ticker is still the old one and I'm sad to say that it's lower than what I actually weigh. I'm going to update it one of these days but my scale and I are frenemies these days. The new clothes sound great and the bonus is feeling so good you want to stay on track. Strangely buying myself new clothes seemed to be a turning point for me and I was happy to realize this week that they are looking bigger on me now even though I feel like I'm stuck on a plateau.

Hi Kathlleen, I came across another Kale recipe today http://budgetbytes.blogsp...getBytes+(Budget+Bytes). This one is a salad so maybe it will appeal to you.

Have a great evening everyone.

We CAN do this!

Cheryl
