Hello, everyone! I'm still alive and well but have just resumed being a lurker. I read almost daily, just haven't posted. No reason really, just not a lot to say I guess.
Boston, thanks for the shout out. I sure hope you get to feeling better. Maybe a good cry is exactly what you need. Just let it all out and see if you don't feel better. I know you are worried about your sister's heart but she did find out she had a problem before she had an attack so I'm sure they will fix her right up. How's your son's ear ache? His senior trip sounded like fun.
Julie, glad your knee is doing better. I have always wanted to be a runner but my knees would never tolerate it. How many more weeks of school for you to work?
Mary, I'm glad you went to see Anne Rice. We have every one of her books in the library where I work and she's quite popular.
Sandy, I missed Biggest Loser this week, also. I went back and read a recap to see what was going on and it said Mark and Buddy went home on there own and Jeremy got voted off so Conda and Kim are the final two.
Karrie, sure hope your dog is doing better. Mine still has the bleeding about 1/2 the time when he "goes". Have you tried adding a spoonful of plain unsweetened yogurt to one of his meals every day? It has probiotics that put the good bacteria back into the intestines and helps get them regulated again. Works for humans, too!
Angie, looks like y'all have had a wonderful vacation. It does the soul good to get away sometimes.
Kathlleen, been doing any knitting lately? That stove you are having installed sounds interesting. I meant to look it up but keep forgetting to.
Lisa, how are you doing? Is your new doggie still doing good?
Cheryl, how is Ollie? I sure have missed reading your posts. Chime in when you have a chance just to let us know you are ok.
Sandi, how's your job going? Are you working at home any now?
If I've missed anyone it wasn't on purpose.
I've lived here all my life. Sometimes I get antsy and think about a change of scenery but I think I would miss the mountains too much. I love the beach too but I'm about 4 1/2 hours away so if I get a longing to see the ocean I can go without too much trouble.
My weight is down a little right now but still a long way from where I need to be. I had a terrible bout of diverticulitis and lost a few pounds so right now I'm around 215.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Annie
