Hi Everyone:)

Julie-I don't remember playing any of the games that you mentioned.  I hope that you had an easier day inside at work.  That is great Duarte is helping you out; very few people like that left in the world.

Kathlleen-My dog still isn't over whatever is getting to him.  Dh called the vet and picked up more medication for him....poor little guy.  He is normal in every sense of the word except for his back door.

Mary-I'm glad that Erin had a nice time on her field trip.  Bullying is something I dealt with in elementary school every darn day.  I remember crying to my mother every single night, trying to figure out what is wrong with me and why!!  Kids are just plan mean.  If the situation were reversed and I was the mother I would be in their face.  But my mother wasn't that kind of person.  It still hurts if you can believe that.  But I don't let it destroy me.  I think that is why I speak my peace and I don't back down from anyone.  My Dh was in a different school.  He was a kid school guard.  He took that job seriously.  He saw a group of kids pile up on another kid and he went running by himself to help this kid out.  These jerks were actually holding this kid down and one was attempting to take his comb and rip the kids eye out of his face.  Dh got them off of him, the kid was bleeding but, his eye wasn't damaged he has a scar on his face from an attempted miss.  Dh never said a word about it to his parents.  The boys mother went to the school and personally thanked my Dh for helping her son.  She even called his mother and thanked her for having such a strong son that stepped up to help her son and that she appreciated it more than words can express.  When Dh came home his mother asked him about it.  Dh got the hugest hug from his mother for doing the right thing.  I think a lot of the kids that did tell your daughter they were sorry.  How awful for her to start the first day of school and have her dad pass away and then need so much compassion and understanding and get nothing from the school.....very sad. I think that you Mary help her to be strong.  I think if you would have crumpled that would have done her in.  But she seen you standing strong and moving on and she pushed forward.

As for me:  I am so glad that this week is over.  I busted my butt to get so much done the last few days that it's exhausting.  I am going for coffee tonight and looking forward to it.  Dh is suppose to cut our lawn tonight if he can.  And tomorrow I'm suppose to get my hair cut and I cannot wait.  Have a great evening.  And I will stop back later.
