Hi everyone,

Thanks for the tip about TBL time change this evening Boston.  I didn't hear about it and I would have missed the show completely.  I'm so happy that your sister's test results have been good Boston.  She'll be very relieved if everything turns out okay on Friday.  Enjoy your evening Boston.

Hi Karrie,  I'm glad you were able to get on YUKU today.  We do seem to have a BIG jump on winter this year and it did take me an hour to clear all the snow from the driveway, parking pad, and sidewalks and that was with using the snowblower and shoveling.  There was quite a bitter wind today but not too much more snow.  Some roads were closed due to the snow drifts from yesterday but none that affected us directly.  I can't believe we still have several months of winter to go.  It already feels like it's been here quite long enough.  Enjoy Rudolph tonight.  I always think of you when I think of Rudolph.

Hi Julie,  I'm glad that you were able to get on tonight.  I wondered what had happened.  I'm glad that you're all better there and that your diet is going well also.  Your weather sounds wonderful.  I have very fond memories of your descriptions of all the spring flowers you would see on your morning walks over the years.  I do think of you as the "walking woman."  Hope to see you here again tomorrow.

I managed the Chinese restaurant pretty well at lunch today.  I ordered a side of steamed veggies and I was the only person in our group of eight that had any vegetables and I left the rice entirely since there is some sort of batter on the chicken.  All the rice and half the meat dish are in the freezer along with other containers collected from my restaurant meals.  Tomorrow we're having lunch at our Admin Council meeting and I have no idea what we're having.  I'm taking an apple in case there's not much that I can eat.  I hope they ordered something somewhat healthy.  Our staff party starts with a dinner at the very same Chinese restaurant we were at today but they've ordered a group meal where they just bring out a huge assortment of dishes.  I looked at the list and there's not much at this restaurant which isn't battered or breaded, salted and then fried and then a sauce poured over it.  I think it's likely going to be the highest calorie meal of the entire year even though I will control the portion and try to eat fewer calories during the day.  It's not until the 10th but it's sure going to blast that week.  December isn't looking too promising for weight loss even though I'm not eating any desserts or sweets.  I am in a real exercise slump and that would be the very best way to counteract the affects of all the high calorie foods.

Have a lovely evening everyone.

We CAN do this!

Cheryl
