Hi Everyone:)

Cheryl-Your post yesterday was just singing and happy!  I am glad that you are in good spirits again.  Man you must have been getting pounded with the "S" stuff, if the sidewalks are so covered that you can't even walk on them.  Soundsl like our last Feb.  I hope that you had an enjoyable time in the City yesterday and got a lot of shopping done and were able to find purchases that you felt really good about.  I agree with you Cheryl.  I love to write out personal Christmas cards and send them.  I find receiving an e-mail Christmas card very lazy, with reasonable exceptions.  I to am "old school" and it takes me hours to write my cards out and I send about 50 of them.  But I wouldn't have it any other way.  I love getting them in the mail.  And I take the time to open them and tape them to my Living Room wall until we take our Christmas stuff down.  I have been up early the whole four days that I had off.  Last night none of us could sleep very well.  I know for me, I let my mind think to much.  I need to learn to just accept the things I can and to let the rest go.  That is something that I need to work on for me.

Sandi-Are you back in the office now?  Usually you tell us and from what you wrote yesterday it sounded like you went back!  I think to explain losing the weight that you gained.  My opinion of the answer would be that at home you were moving around a lot more!  As far as the Accountant goes.  It's exactly, that I explained awhile ago.  That place only cares about themself and not you.  If they work you to death they truly don't care. I hope you hold true to your words and start worrying about Sandi now.

As for me:  Well we were all up early the whole four days we had off.  My stomach and the acid finally settled yesterday.  I feel really good about what I have accomplished over these four days so far.  And going back to work tomorrow, I have no regrets I feel really good!  All the shades are up.  All my curtains are washed, ironed and hung.  I had my bathroom completely torn apart and put back together and thoroughly cleaned.  I torn apart our bedroom yesterday and vacuumed everything off, washed all my nick nacks I enjoy having out, thoroughly cleaned everything in our bedroom, torn the whole bed apart and washed all our bed clothes and put everything back together.  Now our bedroom looks like a bedroom again.  We had planned to put the Christmas tree up yesterday.  I asked for help with my Dad on Saturday with a week of advanced notice since, Dh was on call 24/7 including today.  Saturday he was just running with calls.  No one helped and had called me to go take care of Dad.  All I know is one day, he won't be here and we won't be the ones regretting what we should have done!  Dh took him up a pizza and he spent three hours with him.  Because, my legs and back were killing me and my ankles were swollen and I was still at that time trying to finish washing our Living Room curtains and getting stuff ironed.  Then I needed Dh to help me hang them.  Dh and I picked my Dad up a cake for his birthday today.  And we will take him out later, then to dinner and then back to his house so the three of us can enjoy his birthday with him.  I'm truly blessed to have yet another birthday with my wonderful father.  Dh mentioned about taking my Dad to the mall with us today.  Not so sure that is a good idea.  When he needs to use the bathroom, he needs it now and when your in line at the mall, in the mall or driving on the highway your short on a bathroom now!!  So I think I may suggest taking him during the week to a local mall or store to get him out to look around.  He just wants to be out, not to shop, just a change of scenery.  And I think in about a week we are going to pick him up and drive him around to see the beautiful Christmas lights people have up on their houses.  I think he would enjoy that too. We had a few flurries here yesterday.  It was very cold and it's cold today as well.  Tis the season!  I have no idea what today may bring.  I was hoping our tree would be up but, right now my Dad is more important, so we'll see how it goes.  Well I hope that you all have a great Sunday.  And I will stop back later and see what you all have been up to.
Karrie
