Kate, it's not silly that you have all the information, but feel lost. I've found that most times, it's not about the information. How many books on diet and nutrition do you have? I know I have many. Most of them say the same thing, "Eat better. Eat less. Exercise more". It's pretty simple.

BUT...doing it is NOT simple. For some people, they get the info, and boom boom boom, they just do it. For most of us, there is a whole bunch of baggage that has gotten us where we are today. It's about working through the baggage, and gradually making change.

For some people, it's a very very slow process. I've lost 40ish lbs over 3 yrs. A woman in my WW group has lost 110 lbs since March. :D We're all different, and it's not about how quickly we're doing it...it's about DOING it.

Some of us, we have to start with just one behaviour at a time...and it's ALL about behaviours...not stopping bad behaviours (if I can be Dr. Phil for a bit...), but replacing a bad habit with a good one. Maybe you can decide you're going to drink 8 glasses of water a day...and start there. Maybe you'll decide you don't eat after 8pm..and work on just that...and go from there.

But the first thing you have to get is that it's a lifestyle change. It's not a diet...it's about changing your life. And I think with this, there is no end...it's just about constantly changing, learning, growing, and doing the best we can.

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Blessings,

Tracy
