Jamie,

One thing I thought of that you might give some consideration to is to look at the physical activity side of your healthy lifestyle program more broadly than "exercise."

One of the problems many of us face is generally a more sedintary lifestyle ... sitting in front of the TV, working at a computer for long hours, driving everywhere we go, simply burn less calories than when we perform more active activities: housework, walking as a means of transportation, cleaning our cars, yardwork, etc.

One thing you might try is making a list of all of the things you do, or could do around the house, (from laundry to housecleaning, perhaps painting, etc) or might be able to do for neighbors ... say, walking their dogs.... or if its safe to do in your area, walking as a means of transportation. Perhaps some of these might turn into a business opportunity for you, say maybe a small dog walking service that could fit into your homeschooling schedule. Perhaps if you could do some extra house cleaning/care or yardwork at home to help your mom, she might be able to increase your allowance to help with your healthier food choices? Or perhaps, a neighbor or family member might be willing to pay you for some similar work you could do for them?

You have a lot of creativity and enthusiasm for your healthy lifestyle plan, so perhaps if you can think of things you like, or don't mind doing, that require some level of physical activity ... this kind of physical activity can burn just as many calories as a workout tape, or treadmill session, or whatever. The more different ways you add increased levels of physical activity into your day, perhaps the less bored you'll become with that part of your program.

Keep up the great work, Jaime! :)
