Good morning everyone--

Hope you guys are having a great day today. I had a nice veggie omelet for breakfast this morning, but have yet to eat lunch. I may have some tuna salad... not sure yet. You ever get in the mood for a certain something to eat, but you can't figure out what? Well, I feel like that today.

I was going to take the boys to the pool today, but it is raining & thunderstorming today. :( Maybe tomorrow. We are thankful for the rain, so I can't complain. I still need to run some errands today, so it will be okay.

I watched Big Medicine and walked on the treadmill last night for 30 minutes. I haven't walked on it in a little while and I didn't want to overdo it. I plan on hopping on there again tonight. I have got to get my strength built back up. I have a couple phys-ed classes this coming semester, and I only have 5 weeks until I start back to classes. I am ready to start back in a way, and then in another way I really dread it. (I think mostly because I have to begin working on my thesis this semester!)

Michelle-- Yes, I very well know what you mean about your mental body needing more food than your physical body. Sometimes it IS all about the taste and/or the process of eating. I watched a TV program a while back where a woman described the "high" that she got from the food going down her throat. Personally, I tend to eat for the taste and the comfort, but we all have our own reasons of why (and what) we eat. As far as our physical bodies go, many of us (that are overweight) rarely ever experience true hunger.

I think that one reason food addiction is SO much harder to break is that (unlike drugs or alcohol) we HAVE to eat to live. We have to eat several times a day to survive, so it is a constant battle for us to overcome our addiction. >:

Well, I have lots to do today, so I better get at it! I will check in this evening.
Keep Smilin'--
