Kim, how weird, we were pregnant with our boys at the same time! My oldest was 12 in June. He is cute as a button!

Kim, I know what you mean about putting things in perspective. I lost a dear friend to breast cancer about a year and a half ago. She was 41 years old and married with 2 young children also. It is still hard to believe that she is gone. I miss her so.

Another young woman I went to church with passed away a year ago with pancreatic cancer, leaving behind a husband and three small children. She was 42 and only sick for a couple months. Her baby was getting ready to start Kindergarten last fall. They kept her out of school for an extra year because she was having a really tough time. She is the baby & quite the mama's girl. Her husband's mother stepped in and took all the kids under her wing and helped them through it. The kids are doing really well. The little one will finally be starting kindergarten in a couple weeks.

My own mother died suddenly in her early 30's, so it terrifies me to hear of a young mama passing away so soon. I know how her death has affected me, and I ache for all those little ones that get left behind.

My thoughts and prayers are there, Kim.
