The......![]() 10/7/02 - 12/30/02 This is a 12 week cumulative challenge. Throughout this challenge we're going to take the emphasis off the numbers and put it where it really matters. We are going back to the basics. Week by week, we're going to focus on the fundamentals of healthy living. We're going to direct our attention to getting healthy and fit. We are going to be making choices and forming habits that we can really live with. This challenge is going to work differently from others we have had. If you choose to join simply leave a post with your personal challenge for that particular week. You will then be expected to come back and edit your post each week. Let us know how you are doing, share your thoughts and ideas and leave your new week's personal challenge. IMPORTANT: If your post goes unedited for a period of two weeks or longer your entry will be deleted. This is in no way intended to discourage you from joining. This is being done so that you are held accountable to someone other than yourself. It is also done this way so that you may wipe the slate clean and simply join again if you so wish. You are welcome to begin anew at any stage along this challenge. While it's important to have this sense of team and to get ideas from others, it's just as important to keep in mind that we are all very different so it is up to each of you to decide how you will challenge yourself on any given week. You will need to really explore what will work for you and your lifestyle. Each week I will leave a post at the top of the forum discussing the importance of the topic chosen for that week. I will also offer personal challenge ideas and welcome any others to be left in response for that particular topic. This is a cumulative challenge. Each new week will begin on Monday and you will carry over the previous week's challenge goals into the remaining weeks so be realistic about the standards you set for yourself. Remember, the focus is on forming habits and making changes that you can live with not only over the course of this challenge.....but for the rest of your life. My wish for each of you is that you find within yourselves the power to change your life and realize your dreams. Together anything is possible. :) |
